Gavan Scaroni is currently working at Rheinmetall Defence Australia and New Zealand. Prior to that, he was the Continuous Improvement Lead at Thales, which services the aerospace, defense, transport and security markets, and brings a background in Operations Management, Business Improvement, and the mentorship of teams in Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Gavan’s focus is on evolving businesses by leading projects for improvement across all levels of the organization, resulting in cost reduction, improved efficiencies, enhanced safety and revenue growth. As Business Improvement Advisor at Arrow Energy, he shifted his focus from traditional project management to Project Production Management excellence. At JBS Primo, Gavan developed and managed the largest commercial single rooftop solar installation in Australia, which was featured in the Australian Financial Review, the Today Show and entered into the Guinness Book of Records.
Gavan has worked with multiple organizations across a wide range of industries, including the transport, energy, aviation and defense sectors. He has presented industry talks and keynote speeches on BI initiatives including environmental, and brings multi-industry networks and astute stakeholder engagement abilities. He has been appointed to positions previously at Toll Energy, Arrow Energy, OZRoll Industries and Japan Airlines.
