Dr. Fred Rahbar

Saudi Aramco, Ret.

Dr. Rahbar has over forty years career experience in capital project execution.

He has managed mega project schedules for Saudi Aramco, Aramco Overseas Company (AOC), Aramco Services Company (ASC), PG&E and Bechtel.

Dr. Rahbar has also taught courses at several academic and industry institutions including Iowa State University, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), and the Bahrain Society of Engineers.

He has served leadership roles in several industry associations such as regional Vice President for the Project Management Institute (PMI) Arabian Gulf, Chairman of PMI Technical Committee, Chief Editor Gulf Project Management Magazine, and Chairman of Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) Technical Services Committee. In addition, he has published numerous technical articles in the Journal of Construction Engineering & Management, Gulf Project Management Magazine, and Cost Engineering.

Dr. Rahbar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Construction Engineering & Management from Iowa State University.
