Hisham Said is Associate Professor and Construction Management Program Coordinator in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Sustainable Engineering at Santa Clara University (SCU).
He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from Cairo University. His research advances the industrialization of construction, with interests in prefabrication and modularization, generative design, and spatial scheduling. He has received multiple honors, including SCU’s Researcher of the Year, Teaching Excellence Award, ELECTRI International Early Career Award, and ASCE Construction Research Congress's Best Paper Award.
