Steve is a leader in Merck’s Global Engineering Solutions organization, bringing extensive experience in Capital Management and Program/Project Management combined with deep knowledge of Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Facilities. He currently leads Merck’s Global Estimating and Control Organization, responsible for providing innovative cost and schedule solutions to accelerate key transformational activities enabling new products, manufacturing capacity, and enhanced R&D capability.
White has over 25 years of service at Merck with previous experience in developing business cases and leading initiation of new capital projects. He coordinated capital planning for the Animal Health and Vaccine/Biologics business units, and led program and project management for Quality, Technology and Manufacturing initiatives to ensure reliable product supply.
He is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has led development of six sigma capability within Engineering and guided major change initiatives across the Manufacturing Division. White earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering and his MBA from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
