PPI – CIFE Partnership Awards Skanska VDC Certificates

The 2017-2018 Skanska Norway Virtual Design and Construction program concluded on 23 March, 2018 in Oslo, Norway.

Twenty-five Skanska participants received their VDC certificates, including Roar Fosse, Chief Advisor, Operational Excellence at Skanska Norway. Fosse is also the lead VDC coordinator for Skanska Norway and commented: “Very excited to have completed the Certificate Program in Virtual Design and Construction by PPI and Stanford University’s Center for Integrated Facility Engineering! Thanks to my 24 Skanska colleagues and to our tremendous instructors Atul Khanzode, Mike Williams and Martin Fischer for making these last 9 months a fantastic journey!”

The VDC program consists of a one week Introductory Course, followed by an eight-month Implementation Phase culminating in the Integration Experience during which the certificates are awarded. The program is delivered jointly by the Project Production Institute and the Center for Integrated Facility Engineering at Stanford University.

Project Production Management (PPM) principles form an integral component of the VDC certification program, which is internationally recognized as the premier program of its kind.
