Wim Leenhouts of Royal Dutch Shell Joins PPI Industry Council

Wim LeenhoutsThe Project Production Institute (PPI) is pleased to announce Wim Leenhouts has joined its Industry Council. He is the Chief Process Engineer and Global Discipline Head of Process Engineering for Royal Dutch Shell. He brings direct experience in the successful implementation of Project Production Management (PPM) in the early definition and design development phases of a mega project.

In this role Mr. Leenhouts manages the community of 3,000 chemical engineers across all of Shell businesses globally including Exploration and Production, Gas, Refining and Chemicals. His experience includes multiple roles over 25+ years at Shell and leadership of projects of over $10 Billion of capital investment.

Mr. Leenhouts earned his Masters in Chemical Engineering from Technical University Delft and his M.B.A. from Henley Management College.

He is also an elected fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
