Thank you all for the kind words in response to the announcement of my new role with the Project Production Institute. I’m excited to have the opportunity to play a leadership role in shifting the project paradigm to a production-based, science-based approach. Current activities at PPI are focused on laying the foundation with white papers, PPI Thinking articles and virtual conferences. Along with that comes the PPM Professional Certification program for anyone seeking to gain fluency and be a part of the new wave of successful project professionals. We are also busy beginning to plan in-person events, seminars, panels and educational courses, so be on the lookout for invitations. We are strengthening our relationship with ECC and other key organizations (watch for upcoming announcements) to spread the word and support a new way of thinking and doing.
On the platform of Project Production Management, we are aggressively developing/promoting how to modernize construction using the Project Production Management and its underlying framework for Operations Science coupled with IoT, Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence, autonomous vehicles and robotics.
We will be increasing the global reach of PPI including investments in the energy transition which are ripe for the use of PPM and modern construction techniques. So, stay tuned, get involved with PPI and please share your thoughts with us on where you would like to see us go to be more effective and on the cutting edge of project development and execution.
